Education is very important to individuals as it allows people to learn new knowledge, master in new skills, and understand ideas that they do not make sense before. In this page, I will discuss my education experiences.

Let us go back to Fall 2014 for a while.

In Fall 2014, I came to Beijing No.2 Middle School International Division to start my High School. All courses are taught in English, and classes, assignments, as well as grading systems are same as that in the United States.
Three years high school facilitated me to be adapted to college life in the United States, and made me smoothly transition from a high school in China to an University in the United States.

After I graduated from High School in June 2017, I went to Rutgers-New Brunswick in Fall 2017. During my Freshman year, I took courses in various academic fields to acquire new knowledge and new skills, as well as meet goals for general education.
In my Freshman year, I took two writing courses-English for Academic Discourse I and English for Academic Discourse II. I form better understanding toward how to write a well-organized essay, and how to use appropriate evidence to support my ideas. I also took a class called Introduction to Computers and Their Application. In this class, I developed my skill in programming, web design, and using Excel. I really loved this course because I found my interests in using technology.

I declared my major and minor in Sophomore, and I am currently major in Human Resources Management, and minor in Digital Communication, Information, and Media(DCIM).

During my Sophmore year, I spent most of my time taking DCIM courses. I learned how to work in team to do projects in the Virtual Team Dynamic class, how to interpret information in the Structure of Information class, and how to select appropriate tools to convey messages and meet audiences' preferences in the Strategic Presentations in Digital Media class.

The Strategic Presentations in Digital Media class was one of my favorite classes at Rutgers because I got a lot of chances to practice my skills in design websites, recording and editing podcast, filming and editing videos, and selecting and editing photos. I also understood that it is very important for me to choose digital platforms based on audiences because individuals would like to buy-in my contents, when they were interested in my materials.
